Students struggled with the different types of error.  It is difficult to understand how errors can be made from a significance test when you don’t fully understand a significance test yet.  For this reason, next year we will teach lesson 8.2 last, after lesson 8.6.  The first quiz will be over lessons 8.1, 8.3 and 8.4.  This will keep all of the proportions significance tests together.  The second quiz will be over lessons 8.5, 8.6 and 8.2.

**Update from year 2: Students did so much better with the types of error when we taught it at the end of the chapter.  It was also nice to keep the proportions and means separate on the quizzes. **
