The midterm was a combination of 30 multiple choice questions and 5 free response.  Each free response covered one of the five chapters. The average of the multiple choice portion was about 73% while the average on the free response was about 78%.  We weighted each section equally so the course average was around 76%. The distribution of scores is below.
