Chapter 9 Review
Activity: Create Your Own Problem
Today we went over quizzes from yesterday. After that, students spent some time writing their own two sample problems. The attached activity page walks students through the process including having them find or create plausible values. Once students have written their problem, they should switch with a partner and complete then problems. When they’re done, switch back and grade the work.
Students had a lot of fun with this. It was really interesting to hear what contexts they chose. You should save their work and contexts to use in future years when you are needing extra examples.
