This quiz contained only one four-step problem, a significance test for a proportion.  We wanted to make sure the four-step problem was on a proportion because that was all lesson 8.4 was covering.  We assessed the significance tests for means by splitting the parts of a four-step problem into separate free response questions.  There were no big surprises on the quiz.  Students did fine with an average of about 80%.

**Notes from year 2: Since we changed the order of the lessons this quiz was over 8.5, 8.6 and 8.2.  Students did a much better job with Type I and Type II error than they did last year.**
