You will need the memory training strategies and the random word lists for today’s lesson. Randomly assign the strategies and words to students. Give them 3 minutes to memorize using only their assigned strategy and then about 1 minute to write down as many words as they can remember. Then give them the other strategy and list of random words and repeat the experiment. Students should post their results on the board. Make sure they put the strategies in the correct order!
